Prof. Dr. med. Jakob von Engelhardt
Institute of Pathophysiology/ Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz

We are proud to announce our first talk in 2022 within the RTG2416 Seminar Series:
Prof. Jakob von Engelhardt from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Institute of Pathophysiology) will visit us next Thursday (27.01.2022, 5:15 pm) and educate us on the topic “Role of the AMPA receptor auxiliary subunit CKAMP44 in information processing in the CNS“.

We think that especially in these times a direct exchange between researchers is immensely important, which is why we decided to hold this event in present despite the current situation. We are very pleased that Professor Engelhardt agreed and was very willing to attend in person.
Place:  2. Sammelbau Biologie/ Room 1.011 (Worringerweg 3, 52074 Aachen)

Of course, the event will take place in strict compliance with the 2G regulations. This means only recovered (infection must not be longer than 3 months ago) or fully vaccinated persons will have access. In addition, of course, masks are mandatory (preferably FFP2). Furthermore, we are sure that every participant will voluntarily test himself on the day of the event in order to further increase safety.
And of course, we will also offer the possibility to actively participate in the presentation virtually to allow everyone to participate with a safe feeling.
