September 2019, A successful Women in Academia Day

In August, we hosted our first Women in Academia Day which turned out to be a great success. All speakers allowed us insight into some interesting statistics about women in academia, their individual career paths and sometimes shared very personal experiences. Thank you for this! Prof. Greg Stuart

We are thrilled to welcome Prof. Greg Stuart from the Australian National University (ANU) between September 23rd and October 4th 2019. He’s is a world leading expert on dendritic integration and his contribution will be instrumental to the RTG’s understanding of the cellular mechanisms underlying multisensory integration. In particular Prof. Stuart will be an important enrichment to the RTG2416 projects centering  on the cellular and systems level. With his recent work on visual signal integration his research is also directly linked to multisensory projects in the RTG.
